That has actually been my top worry. More so than the killer striking again. People taking this into their own hands and getting it wrong.

We've got a lot of people in this city who have memories of people who were heroes, big movers and shakers in the worlds that they came from. It's a tough burden to bear already, but it might drive some people to vigilantism.

But if they think of themselves as heroes, they'd try to bring the person responsible in alive, wouldn't they?

I think most people, when pressed, will always try to do the right thing.

Talking about the people who are missing this month, it seems to be helping keep them here. When I started talking about Koutarou, I could find where he was in the city.

This place seems to be driven by our memories more than anywhere else we've been. Whatever has happened to the city, reality is a lot more subjective here than objective.

It's insane, but it's like the other Togusa understands it better than I do.
